On the Gear Magazine cover Jessica was dressed in a bikini to break the stereotype. Jessica's act caused a lot of debate among her supporters. The show was cancelled by Jessica 7th Heaven in season six. Her fame was instantly boosted by her exemplary acting as a teenage Casey Jackson in Ulee's Gold. The film earned her the award for Best Supporting Female Actress. Summer Catch is a great display of her abilities. In spite of her outstanding performance, Rules of Attraction was not a big hit. Her appearance on The Texas Chainshaw Massacre, a horror movie, caught the attention of people everywhere. She has also acted in suspense films, and has demonstrated her skills as an actor.
