Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1st of 1995. She was born in Berkeley California USA. She is an American actress who has appeared in Choices (2010) as well as The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004).

Asia Argento is an Italian actor and filmmaker born into a large household. She has pursued both professions herself. At the age of nine and acting, she made her debut in Sergio Ciotti's film Sogni e bisogni. The year 1988 was the time she was cast in the leading role in Cristina Comencini's first feature film Zoo. She was also one of Michele's cast in The Church. Red Wood Pigeon, the film she appeared in as Nanni Moretti's young daughter, was released just a few years later. However, it was Close Friends by Michele Placido that made Asia's acting career take off. Cannes International Film Festival received the movie well. In Trauma she appeared in her first film with her father, the famous Italian film director Dario Argento his mother, one of his favorite actors, Daria Nicolodi, playing an overweight girl on the lookout for her parents' killer. Asia worked alongside Dario Argento in three of his films, Trauma, The Stendhal Syndrome and The Phantom of the Opera. In Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato nozze, Asia's absorption style of intense acting was used well. She also starred in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista in which she was Arianna an athlete. This role was complex and demanding, earning an award from David di Donatello as the most outstanding actor. The 1995 film she co-directed alongside Michel Piccoli for Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio won her a David di Donatello, and the Grolla d'oro. Asia started directing in the year 1994. She released two shorts as well as an episode of the film De Generazione. In 1996 she directed a documentary about her father and AbelAsia is a feature film about the cult director Abel Ferrara. In 1998, Asia directed AbelAsia, which was awarded by the Rome Film Festival. In 1999, Asia made her feature-directing debut in the form of Scarlet Diva with Scarlet Diva, in which she played the lead actress as well as the writer of the screenplay. In May 2000, the movie was released throughout the world. This film was awarded by the Williamsburg Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
